is involved in the development and production of many video, film and TV projects alongside various partners,
mainly based in the North or North West of England, and
have active working relationships with North West Vision.
Currently we are
working with:
Clapperboard uk Ltd on
several short film projects with young people in schools and youth clubs
in Liverpool and Knowsley, for completion in Winter 2009/10.
The Warrington Humanities
Network as media consultants on the
Warrington Young Roots Education about Slavery project, which enables
students of 6 Secondary schools to research Warrington's role in the
18th century slave trade and abolition campaigns, for a film on DVD, to
be premiered in Autumn 2009.

Five Medical
Examinations (July 2009):
a series of training films about base line medical
examination procedures, commissioned by the Clinical Skills
Resource Centre of the School of Medical Education, University of
Liverpool, in partnership with the Mersey Deanery, for use as
a web-based revision tool for medical students.
Voice of the
Learner (March 2009):
a short film summarising the views of a number of clients
about their experiences of learning throughout their lives. Commissioned
by Learning Together Cheshire and Warrington with funding from
the LSC.
Clapperboard
Youth Project 2008 - Knowsley: "Take the Rap" (February 2009),
a short film by young people at
the Roundabout Youth Centre in North Huyton
about "Gang, gun and knife culture", made as part of the
Knowsley Youth Development Programme. Screened at the Clapperboard
Awards Ceremony at the Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays on 20
April 2009.
Liveability -
promoting health and independence for the over 50s (October 2008), a 12 minute documentary relaunching
Liverpool PCT's
award winning 'Active Aging' provision as the Liveability Service.

about "Gang, gun and knife culture". Screening and Awards ceremony
at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Monday 29 September 2008. Films

uk website. On of the films, Aftermath, was screened at the
2009 Tampere International Youth Film Festival in Finland.

2004 we have been working with
Action Transport
Theatre Company on In The Frame, a Community Fund assisted
three-year Arts 2 Inclusion programme,
that enables young people from Ellesmere Port to make their own short
films. In 2004 this resulted in Loose Change, and in 2005 in
Runaway Home, which was screened at the prestigious 2006 Videotivoli Festival in
Tampere, Finland.
Screen-writing tutor on these two films was
Mike Crowley.

introducing the HCTS Floor Covering Academy.
North Huyton Celebrates (October 2004) - short documentary for
North Huyton NDC about the North Huyton 2004 Community

Bridging The Health Divide (November 2005) - overview of Public
Health initiatives in the North Huyton area of Knowsley, commissioned

The Road 2 Work (May 2006) - an interactive

Sports for All (January 2007) - a promotional video celebrating

'On a Mission to
Listen' - Peer Advocacy Training for Children and Young People
(April 2008), an interactive training DVD for use in Liverpool's primary
schools, commissioned by Liverpool City Council's
Pupil Advocacy Team.
The Peer Advocacy Training Programme, with this DVD at its core, received
an 'Innovations Award' at the Liverpool City Council Inclusion
Awards 2009. This Award is given for innovative practice which
improves the life chances of disabled children and young people.
WE'VE GOT A
RIGHT TO ... (December 2007), a 'peer-education DVD' about
'Children's Rights, which a group of young
people in care produced during a film making residential weekend.
Client: Cheshire County Council Children's Services.
NIGHT TRAIN
and on the night train (September 2007), a brace of films about
'running away', based around
Action Transport's
new play 'Night Train'. NIGHT TRAIN - for Action Transport -
documents the collective writing process used to create the play, while
'on the night train' - for Cheshire County Council
Children's Services - presents issues around running away in a training
format.
